KRISTI CRADDOCK

M. Ed.

Kristi’s passion lies in supporting students and adults in core academics, integrating the use of augmentative communication and technology in the classroom and at home and supporting the development of reading and writing in students with complex needs. She is known for her excellent rapport with parents, colleagues and the many students she has taught.

Kristi has been working with students of varying disabilities for over 20 years. After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Northern Arizona University, in 1998, she went on to complete endorsements in Adapted Physical Education and Severe Profound Disabilities. Kristi has written grants in which she has been awarded money for classroom academic projects, multiple years in a row. For the past two years, Kristi has been training with Susan Norwell and Judy Lariviere honing her skills in providing support and instruction for families, teachers and therapists for students with complex needs. She is well versed in the Tobii Communicator software and actively works one-on-one with students using eye gaze technology and partner assisted scan.

Kristi works in the Palm Beach County School District as a Rett Syndrome Resource Teacher and she is thrilled to be working alongside the talented professionals of Rett University.
