This recorded webinar will give parents and teachers ideas on how to move from emergent scribbling to more conventional writing. What is taught in this webinar is appropriate for those children that have utilized the ABC flipbooks for some time and are now beginning to use letters in their writing that reflect a beginning and/or an ending sound, and they have some experience with a decoding program such as Making Words by Patricia Cunningham and Dorothy Hall.

Authentic experiences, word prediction and criterion for success will be defined, discussed and modeled through video.

Resources will include:

  • Keyboards in Communicator 4 and 5
  • Clicker Keyboard with word prediction- users must own Clicker in order to use.
